The cadet programme is part of the wider Citizens in Policing Programme (CiP) with a vision to connect communities with policing and policing with communities. It is designed to specifically build bridges between young people, the community and the Police.

The programme offers young people aged between 13yrs and 16yrs from all parts of the community regardless of educational needs, challenging behaviour or disability the opportunity to gain a practical understanding of policing and to develop their spirit of adventure and good citizenship.
